NATURE OF WORK:

Performs limited semi-skilled and supervisory manual labor in support of increased City of Orlando Parking Division. The job involves tasks that require basic masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical abilities. Main functions include repair of concrete structures, garage driveways, drywall, doors, overhead grills, painting, caulking, repair control and expansion joints, verification of fluid levels in equipment, test of operation of generators and fire pumps, verification and service vehicle tires and batteries, loading and unloading trucks with tools and materials for transportation to and from job sites. Sometimes, will help janitorial staff in cleaning garages and lots. The work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Crew Leader of Field Supervisor and is reviewed while in progress and once completed through direct observation, meetings, and work order review to ensure accuracy and completeness.

WORK SCHEDULE: Regular hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on division needs and operational considerations.
Minimum Requirements
High School Graduate or GED, plus two (2) years of experience in assigned area required; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. A valid Florida Driver's License is required.

VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
