Nature of Work:

Performs limited supervisory and semi-skilled manual work involving the construction, maintenance, and repair of streets, roadways, drainage and utility lines and systems, cleaning of buildings and other public facilities and landscape maintenance of streets, sidewalks, and right-of-ways. Employees assigned to this classification perform a variety of tasks involving above-average physical effort and operation of power tools and equipment requiring some manipulative skills. Work is assigned and carried out according to oral and written instructions, usually from Crew Leader or Field Supervisor and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through direct observation, meetings, and review of work orders to ensure quality and timeliness.

Minimum Requirements
High school graduate plus two (2) years of experience in assigned area required; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Valid Florida Commercial Driver License Class B required.

VALID CDL CLASS B (OR EQUIVALENT) FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA CDL CLASS B MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
