Nature of Work:

Provides a wide variety of paraprofessional technical, administrative, budget, and financial support. Assists the Fiscal Manager in the coordination of budget analysis and preparation, financial analysis, and accounting activities. Assists Fiscal Manager in the development and submission of the annual budget; the preparation of periodic reports; and the organization, maintenance, review, and interpretation of fiscal records. Work is performed under the supervision of the Fiscal Manager and is reviewed through conferences, reports submitted, periodic audits, and discussions.

Minimum Requirements
Associate degree in accounting or business and three (3) years responsible fiscal experience including significant project leadership experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Ability to operate personal computers with specific knowledge of Excel, Workday, and Access desired. Must pass polygraph examination.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

  • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
  • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
  • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
  • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
