NATURE OF WORK:
Performs complex administrative support work in the Human Relations Office. An employee assigned to this classification is responsible for coordination of education outreach, special events, training and travel, purchasing, accounting, processing grant payment/drawdowns, and maintain financial records including grant files and similar financial support functions, assisting with screening and case preparation. This position involves work that is complicated with varied procedures and/or work methods that permit initiative and independent judgement. This position is also responsible for performing a variety of administrative support work for the Human Relations Manager and lead direction to other administrative support. Work is performed under general supervision of the Human Relations Manager and is reviewed through evaluation of reports submitted, conferences, frequent discussions and results achieved.
Minimum Requirements
Associates degree and one (1) year specialized experience performing administrative support, and experience responding to verbal and written inquiries required.
Valid Florida Driver's License required.
This position may be required to work and/or participate in community events and Human Relations activity deemed necessary by the Director/Manager; this includes hours after 5:00 p.m., weekends and holidays.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
