Nature of Work:

Performs professional-level duties and is responsible for internal employee communications. Primary duties include researching, coordinating, developing, and delivering internal communications, in writing and digitally, to enhance employees' understanding of internal programs, services, and initiatives, as well as the city's key priority areas. The incumbent is expected to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and initiative in the performance of duties. Work is performed under general supervision of the Communications & Neighborhood Relations Director and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Public Administration, or a related field required plus three years' experience in communications, public information/administration, marketing required, or a related field required; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. A valid Florida driver's license is required.
