THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEED.

Nature of Work:

Performs responsible security work for Orlando Venues facilities. Primary responsibilities include protecting facilities and occupants from theft, potential hazards and criminal acts. Employees assigned to this class are expected to exercise discretion and diplomacy while ensuring compliance with security procedures. Work is performed under general supervision and performance is reviewed through evaluation of surveillance reports, direct observation, discussions with management and patrons and results obtained.

Work Schedule: Flexible schedule with no set number of hours per week. Will be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with event schedule and department needs.

Minimum Requirements
. High school graduate plus two (2) years security or law enforcement experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must pass background investigation, which includes polygraph. Required to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

IF APPLICABLE, VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW AND VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
