THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEED.

Nature of Work:
The role of a Temporary/Seasonal Records Specialist is to assist with meeting the demands of the City Clerk's Office by providing coverage and performing specialized projects.

Performs routine, varied clerical work of average difficulty. Primary functions include but are not limited to answering phones, calendaring, invoicing, scanning documents, performing data entry, taking/relaying messages, assisting members of the public, responding to emails, maintaining office files and completing projects as assigned.

Work is performed according to standard routines, but specific instructions are given on new assignments; work is reviewed while in progress, and upon completion for accuracy and adherence with office practices.

Minimum Requirements
Associate degree and two years experience in general office practices or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge of document scanning procedures and microfilm standards desired. Ability to lift 20 or more pounds. Valid Florida drivers license required.

VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
