THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEED: 20-24 HOURS PER WEEK IS ANTICIPATED.

Nature of Work:

Perform a variety of clerical work for the Hispanic Office of Local Assistance (HOLA), which involves varied procedures or work methods, and permits reasonable initiative and independent judgment. The primary functions of this position is to assist the HOLA Support Specialist by greeting visitors, answer the main telephone line, provide information and customer service to visitors and callers, interview visitors, and perform research in a variety of topics. Must be able to create forms, formats, flyers, presentations and other special reports. Assist with translating documents. May attend community events representing the HOLA office.

Work Schedule: Generally, 20-24 hours per week, Tuesdays are mandatory.

Minimum Requirements
Associates degree plus one year of clerical/or secretarial experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must be experienced at using Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual English - Spanish a plus (read, write and speak).
