This position is for you if:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Plant Sciences or related field and/or a minimum of 10 years equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in Supply Chain or related capacity.
• You have a keen ability to prioritize needs based on biggest ROI.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• You have a passion for agriculture and manufacturing and are detail-oriented and a great multi-tasker.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.

As the successful Supply Chain Manager, you will be working with our Chief Financial Officer and the rest of the MRP/purchasing team. The successful Supply Chain Manager will manage, invigorate and maximize our supply chain protocols, procedure and strategy. You will be responsible for managing the MRP, Inventory Control and Purchasing to support all operations with production planning and forecasting, crop inventories, crop and product costing, product inventory control, record management systems and interdepartmental communication. The Supply Chain Manager will make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

The job details

• Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiencies and are geared towards automation.
• Coordinate with logistics to optimize warehouse functions and accurately report inventories.
• Manage and maintain Crop codes by researching, collecting and keying new or changed data.
• Manage database by examining and reviewing unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly.
• Develop and implement procurement strategy and policies.
• Oversee the planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely and cost effective way while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
• Prepare Specialized Reports and Graphs for Manager/Supervisors by collecting and summarizing account and crop information based on the crop plan.
• Assist in Crop Plan for all Divisions by breaking down data; summarizing results, and writing recommendations (Summits).
• Manage Product Development by product costing and pricing.
• Reconcile Crop Inventory Reports by planning, coordinating, supervising and auditing physical counts; by summarizing and auditing final report. By keeping cost sheets updated.
• Complete special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements, planning, arranging and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
• Train Employees in use of new forms, reports and procedures for: Crop Planning, System and software use, conduct work simplifications training employees in the use of new tools.
• Ensure work projects are completed satisfactorily and safe working conditions are maintained at all times.
• Develop and maintain a strong sense of teamwork among the crew/team members.
