This is a full-time CONTRACT position with the same benefits as Regular full-time. Most contracts are renewable for terms of one year.

Nature of Work:

Performs work in support of Sustainability Leadership and Project Managers in the City of Orlando's Office of Sustainability and Resilience in the continued maintenance of city sustainability programs. This position is responsible for developing marketing and educational materials and working with the city's communications department to schedule public outreach and education campaigns, as well as, coordinating logistics between administrative services and operations. The incumbent will track and report data periodically to both city operational staff and customers. Duties include conducting background research to support new and ongoing projects, drafting overview summaries and reports, and tracking the progress of existing projects. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Sustainability Project Manager and performance is reviewed through direct observation, reports submitted, and evaluation of results obtained.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy or Administration, Engineering, Urban Planning, Sustainability, or equivalent and at least two years of related work experience in environmental sustainability, resilience, or public policy. Valid Florida driver's license is required.
